December 2016: It's a wrap, 2016 is officially history. It's been a tough year, personal as well as politically. With things like Trumps election, the Brexit, and the senseless growing, futile hate on social media, it's not that easy to focus on the good things. For me, 2016 was the year I hugged Macklemore, finally went to Los Angeles, got a job with awesome colleagues, and dropped out of school to follow my dream. Definitely the best year of my life, I never thought I could do so much growing as a person as I did in the past twelve months. 2017 will be, while certainly challenging, a good year. I could write a couple of pages about everything that I want to do and happen, but the purpose of 2017 can actually be summarized in a few words:

Fighting fears and spreading love. That's what it's all about. Happy new year!

November 2016: I've bought a lot of equipment, including an interface, an electric guitar, and a sequenzer. These spendings depleted a big part of my savings, so I had to get a job a the local cinema. I didn't think I would, but I actually really enjoy working there. Since the job was very time consuming during the first weeks, I didn't have that much time to work on my music. Nevertheless, I managed to write a couple of songs that I really like and maybe get to share with you one day.

October 2016: It was a pretty calmed, pretty quiet month. The only thing worth mentioning is the release of my new song 'Currents'. Making music is more or less everything I do right now, after all it's what I do best. I don't know what's gonna happen during the last two months of this year, but I have a feeling that the next year's gonna be good...

September 2016: Going for a walk every single day leads to a lot of pictures, as you can see. But the best thing about September clearly was me going back to the studio. I really missed the feeling you get there, surrounded by all this equipment and even though I only stayed there for a couple hours, the results were quite nice.

August 2016: Since my mother, stepfather and little brother went on vacation, I had the house for myself, so I used these three weeks to hang out with friends, watch my favorite shows and, most importantly, make some music (obviously). I also went to the opera house and a festival called “Bardentreffen", which takes place in the inner city of Nuremberg.

July 2016: It's a different life, completely without school, just music. Not one day passes without me writing something new, I'm really enjoying this new freedom. Towards the end of July me and my friends went to an event called “Rathaus Clubbing", hosted by the mayor of my hometown.

June 2016: After five years of wishing it, I finally went to see Coldplay live. I went to Berlin with a friend to experience the best concert ever, even better than Macklemore earlier this year (didn't think that was even possible). A few days before the concert I went to the prom in my school and even though I didn't graduate myself it was nice to spend one last evening together with all my fellow schoolmates. Besides those two events, June was pretty unspectacular but I still enjoyed it very much.

May 2016: Since April was such an eventful month, I decided to approach this month more relaxed. I spent most of my time at home, working on new songs and digesting the previous month(s). I took long walks on the beautiful fields outside the small village I live in, hoping it'd help my creative progress, and it did.

April 2016: Damn. How can a month be THAT good? I've met Macklemore after his concert in Munich, flew to Los Angeles to attend the Akademia Gala Event at the Rose Bowl Stadium and finished school (even though the last thing wasn't exactly planned this way). I've been to some concerts before but Macklemore and Ryan Lewis completely blew my mind. I was speechless afterwards and screaming at the top of my lungs all the time wasn't the main reason. This night, the few days in Los Angeles and finally being done with school gave me a whole new kind of creativity and I couldn't enjoy it more.

March 2016: Finally spring again. I found two posters I made when I first started working on Amsterdam and it was interesting to see that only two songs of that time made it on the album. In order to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra I went to a really great show with my grandma. What impressed me the most was the play in school, performed by my fellow pupils. They really did a marvelous job!

February 2016: I don't think that I ever had such eventful weeks like I did this month. I went to a concert of my favorite german musician, I received an award for my album, I've been to two wonderful birthdays, I lost two close friends who just can't get their shit together (sorry but that's the truth), and I wrote some new songs I already embosomed. Just a few weeks left until my final exams and even less time left until I get on a plane to finally fly to Los Angeles. If this year stays this fast, I'll faint haha.

January 2016: One hell of a month. With my album being released, this month couldn't get that bad. But instead of just not getting bad, it went on to being awesome. I bought some more tickets for concerts, enjoyed the nature, and started taking singing lessons again. But February got even better!
