December 2014: Too little things to photograph, too many personal, messy things flying around my head. I was at the end of my tether and luckily a mostly horrible year got to its end, too. Too many altercations, too many heartbreaks, too many wasted moments. 2015 knew only one way: Up. And that's the way it actually and fortunately went.

-I learnt so much from making mistakes, I'm thinking of making a few more.-

November 2014: Just as promised, it became a little less boring again. In November, I finally settled on a piano (Yamaha P-35) and a program (Logic Pro X) to record the instrumental parts of the new album. Afterwards I spent hours and hours with listening to the songs to find proposals for improvement. Unsurprisingly I found tons of them.

October 2014: Once again, a pretty ordinary month with just ordinary stuff going on. I was really busy with school and pondered about how I will produce the second album. But I promise, November became a tiny bit more interesting.

September 2014: The second and at the same time last trip of those wonderful summer holidays took me to Amsterdam and Callantsoog (a village in northern holland). There I created the first version of the album cover, right after I had the idea for the song 'Amsterdam' during a boat trip in the canals of Amsterdam. Seems pretty obvious, doesn't it?

August 2014: School holidays! Definitely one of the best things you can have after months of stress, boredom and getting up way too early. The first trip took me to Austria, or more specifically Lake Ossiach. I had a beautiful time there and despite the fact that the first album was only a few days old, I already started working on the second one. By the way, this second one is the one you know as 'Amsterdam'.

July 2014: Finally it was about time to have one first photo shooting and it took place by some smaller lakes nearby the village I can currently call my home. Yet the more important thing was the release of my first album 'A' after some very stressful days and nights.

June 2014: In June nothing really interesting happened, I guess. All I can say is that I spent hours every day to write and compose songs while trying to handle the stuff that occurred in the months before. No time for good stories.

May 2014: This month taught me one lesson: If you think it cannot get much worse, life may take this as challenge to prove you wrong. On the first weekend of May I went to an art event called 'Blaue Nacht' with my grandpa and on the following days I came pretty close to releasing my first single which I wanted to call 'Try To Stay Alive'. Some of my classmates even made some awesome paperwork showing me on stage. I really would have liked those days but only hours later after I took a picture of this paperwork, we were informed about the fact that a former classmate and good friend of some of us had died in a tragic accident. This was the moment when the ground fell out from underneath my feet and it also jeopardized every plan I had for the next weeks. After a while I decided to drop the single and instead to release a whole album which I dedicated to my friend.

April 2014: Next to the following May, this April was one of the roughest times in my life until today. At the beginning of the month I made some bad mistakes and even worse experiences which led to some kind of wounded heart, but also to tons of inspiration. Thankfully I was busy with my field work at the local horticultural farm so I was able to free my mind at least a bit. Although I would not want to endure such a time again, I'm still glad it happened. Cause those weeks finally gave me the guts to post my first music video, featuring the song 'Holy Grail'.

March 2014: It was a pretty exciting month because I recorded my first EP in my room (turned out to be not that much of a professional recording) and afterwards I went to Berlin with my class. This trip was surely filled with ups and downs but at least I got some funny stories and some unforgettable memories.

February 2014: Given the fact that I was all out of money, I wasn't able to pay a graphic designer for my first cover. So I had no choice but to take matters in my own hands and create it by myself. Retrospectively it may not have been my greatest success, but it can always be worse, too. Also I -surprisingly- wrote some new lines for some new songs.

January 2014: With a new year and a new piano, I slowly got closer to publishing some of my music. Next to writing more and more songs, I thought it'd be a nice thing to write my favorite song-quotes on the keys of my keyboard. As it later transpired it was a really, really bad idea because even though the pens were called 'waterproof' my fingers became black and blue and the writing blurred. Obviously having a nice idea doesn't mean that it'll be nice after it's executed.
